Light snow fell and it was again a wonderous spiritual kind of night.
The service was lovely.
The carols warm the heart.
The line to the community dinner was longer than ever.
The wine tasted especially good.
Kisses for all.
Time shared with family.
Kids are sleeping tight. The stockings are hung
by the chimney with care. Chock full of goodies that would make
any child stare. The plates been laid out. Santa gets a special
treat no doubt. Knoephla and Beer for the jolly guy tonite!
Surely he'll want to stay a while before his next flight!
This may be the last time the true magic of the mystery
befalls our little ones bedrooms this night.
But the memories will last for a lifetime
and therefore he'll never be too far
out of sight.
